Standard: In order to bring down a node, an attack must send the same amount of data to the node that we receive on our website over about 24 hours, all at once.

Shield: In order to bring down a node, an attack must send the same amount of data to the node that we receive on our website over about three months, all at once.

Will this prevent all server outages?
DDoS attacks are definitely a huge factor of individual server outages, however this will not prevent server outages caused by misconfigured plugins, node maintenance, or invalid server types. Will my IP change?
You connect with a subdomain (like server.mc.gg) instead of a numeric IP. This will reflect on your Server Dashboard when enabled. You must connect with this address in order to benefit from Shield. Do not share your numeric IP when using Shield.

What's the cost?
Add shield to any Minecraft server for only $6.99 per month. Shield will be included for all of our Extreme Server Management pack owners.

How do I get shield?
Simply by selecting Shield during checkout, or if you're already a customer, log in to your Client Area, choose Services, and View Available Addons.
