MySQL is an alternative storage method that some plugins and mods support which allows you to setup that plugin/mod to save its files to this separate storage. This can help to reduce storage usage as Dynmap files tend to be quite large in size.
To setup a MySQL Database:
1. Go on your server's control panel.
2. On your control panel, on the left side click Advanced and then Databases.
3. If you do not already have a MySQL database, input the name you wish to use for that database and then click Create Database. *You can only create up to one MySQL database. If a database already exists, you will see your MySQL information.
4. The page will now refresh and your MySQL database information will now appear including the MySQL Username, MySQL Password, MySQL Host, and the database name. By default, the MySQL port will always be 3306.
